Hallmark Awards

We have been awarded a Hallmark Award!

Arnside Educational Institute has been awarded Hallmark quality awards for good management.

This nationally recognised award is the only quality mark for village and community halls.

Hallmark is a quality system launched by ACRE (Action for Communities in Rural England) to promote the delivery of effective and well managed halls.

It has three “levels” of award:

Charity essentials and administration
Legislation, Safety, Licencing and Maintenance
Community and Social Awareness, communications, forward planning, and social development

Formal audits are undertaken routinely in order to demonstrate that the systems are in place, working, and effective. Only Arnside EI and one other hall have achieved both levels 1 and 2 in Cumbria.
